Baron Edmund Hicks of Wardon is a tall and thin man of purpose and determination and the head of House Hicks. Gaunt cheeks graced with whitening stubble, thinning hair scarred with bald spots, and sunken blue eyes give him a rather severe appearance. Like his people, the Baron lacks any particular sense of grace and decorum, speaking bluntly and directly as a habit. While the Baron is just as well educated as his peers, the country bumpkin accent tends to suggest otherwise. Furthermore, it would be a severe mistake to underestimate this man’s military or administrative acumen. As Lord-Commander of the Wanduke Knights and second only to the Count himself, the Baron Edmund Hicks is no yokel to be ignored.
