At 1930 we left the garrison and began to march towards Elwynn. The march was uneventful. As we approached Lakeshire, we noticed that the reconstruction effort had made serious headway. Fortunately for the citizens of Lakeshire the main center of the bridge had been reconstructed and trade goods had begun flowing into and out of the town once more. I ordered the Regiment to stop in Lakeshire and had them investigate for any other needs that the citizens may have. Within our investgiations, Sergeant Potter found a note within the fields saying “Consider this payment from M. We will delay it as much as we can." Upon investigation with the farmer who owns the land, he said that he hears strange noises every once in a while, behind his house but hasn’t investigated. Fearing for his farm.

Meanwhile, Knight-Lieutenant Waylon Loucelles and Recruit Zander went and scouted the nearby Lumbermill for any other signs. They spotted a man in crimson red robes. As well as a few of the other members in Blackened Defias armor. As Knight-Lieutenant Loucelles and Recruit Zander were stalking gathering information. Master Sergeant Locke ordered the Regiment to find the Knight-Lieutenant and Recruit Zander. This lead the Regiment up the road towards the Lumber Mill, where they sprung a trap and the Mage was alerted to their location.

The Mage tried to make quick work of the Regiment; however, they were resilient. An alarm was sounded and the men, each clad in black armor was called to action. Private Samuel Cooper charged forward along with Master Sergeant Locke, trying to bring down the Mage quickly. However; they were too late. The Mage casted a Banish onto Private Cooper and sent him into another plane.

Master Sergeant Locke was quick to react and dealt a critical blow against the Mage, brining Private Cooper back. Enraged, Private Cooper’s weapon was empowered and he cut down the Mage with absolute force.

After that brutal display of force, the enemy surrendered en-mass. The Regiment then took and subdued the prisoners, putting them in shackles. After we rounded up the prisoners, we then searched the Lumber Mill. Inside, we found several letters which I will include the details below. We as well found 250 gold pieces.

The following would be the letters.

“From: Scratched out

To: Magistrate Whitmore

Payment: 500 Gold

For the reconstruction efforts in Redridge. We expect the repairs to be complete by mid 40 LC.”

“Payment Due: M

Payment: 50 Gold

I don’t care how you get it done, just have it done for 40 LC.”

“You have just one shot at this, Just take the potion and we’ll be rich, We can make it, They’ll pay, Stop worrying about it, The Sisterhood lives forever.”

The last letter is rather cryptic, with the officers permission I would like to take the last letter back to Sarceline for any traces of Magical essence. Perhaps even one of our Diviners would be able to see who crafted the note. However, I cannot get our hopes up.

We then packed up and took the prisoners back to Lakeshire, where they will be put on trial for their crimes against the Alliance. We then marched back to the Garrison without any issue.

I would like to open up a formal investigation on to what this “Sisterhood” is, and if it has any connections within the Kingdom.
